Kim’s Log is written in English. If that is not your language, here are two simple ways to read it anyway. Neither costs anything and neither needs an account.
Your browser can probably do it already
This is the better option, and most people do not realise they have it. It is faster than the alternative below, it keeps working as you move from page to page, and in Firefox the translation happens entirely on your own device, so nothing about what you read is sent anywhere.
- Chrome and Edge: right-click anywhere on the page and choose Translate. A small language menu appears in the address bar.
- Safari: click the translate icon in the address bar, on the right end of the page address.
- Firefox: a translation icon appears in the address bar. Firefox translates on your device, without sending the text to anyone.
- Phones: Chrome and Safari both offer to translate automatically when a page is not in your language. Look for the prompt at the bottom of the screen.
Or open the site through Google Translate
If your browser cannot do it, these links open the whole site translated. Once you are in, you can keep clicking around and it stays translated.
Two things to expect. The page loads in English first and switches after ten to twenty seconds, so give it a moment before deciding it is broken. And this route sends the pages through Google, which means Google sees what you read here.

What to expect from a machine
Automatic translation is good enough to follow an argument and bad enough that you should not quote it. Names of places and people come out mangled now and then, and the site’s own menu can read oddly. If a sentence seems strange, it probably is. The English original is always one click away.
